The toolbars on the strip

The bar in Excel is divided into tabs with the corresponding group names of each MS Excel toolbar. After downloading of the program, the «Home» tab is always active by default.

The new program interface in versions older than 2007 is the main visual difference from previous versions. Or rather it is not only the visual but also the comfortable difference. In the format of the bookmarks, the tools are more conveniently located and accessible for user. All tools at hand now and you don`t need to search for all the menu options. The panel itself is highly configurable and for conservative users. You can completely reconfigure the interface to the old familiar look. But let`s review it as it is.



The management by MS Excel toolbars

The toolbar in the more convenient format of bookmarks:

Task 1: Click on each tab to get acquainted with its contents. See which toolbars are included in each tab.

Task 2: Move your mouse cursor over the various tools, holding each one after hovering for a few seconds. For a moment, the brief explanation of the function that each tool performs will be displayed.



Note! Above some tools in the explanation are indicated the combinations of hot keys. For example, on the «FORMULAS» tab, the «Insert function» tool in the description says: insert to the function.

Task 3: Go through all the bookmarks and pay attention to the icons that indicate the tools. Each pictogram (icon) of the instrument makes sense of its function. Try to use any tool to choose from.
